Visualization, Advanced Reporting, & More Upgrades

Since the 2.4 update, we’ve been running closer to a continuous delivery model. We’re still fine tuning our approach to releases, but so far we’re really happy with the results. Instead of posting a new update with every small change, we wanted to share some of the larger functional updates we’ve made in one place.

Better Visualization of Clicks and Bookings

Based on feedback from Koddi users we’re now showing clicks and bookings in the dashboard across two color ranges, so that you can easily identify a markets and regions that are underperforming visually. In the example above regions the don’t contain the green-to-red spectrum are not driving the expected level of bookings.

Site IDs and Names in the Export Interface

If you’re using Koddi for Hotel Price Ads or metasearch management across multiple brands or client accounts, you now get more specificity when loading your export history. This should be helpful if you’re looking to pull an old bulk export for reference purposes.

Bulk Exports of Hotel Details

A number of users had requested direct bulk export functionality so that they could always access the latest hotel information easily, send it to other partners, or to use in their Local programs. We’ve added this functionality to the “Hotel Info” screen; just click the button to start a bulk export!

Expanded Comparison Reporting

Screen Shot 2013-10-24 at 6.23.42 PMWhen we first launched comparison reporting, we used the most accessed date ranges (Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, etc) to streamline the report generation process. Quickly after launch, we received feedback that these were too limiting, so we expanded comparison reporting to support completely custom date ranges. This is especially helpful with average metrics, where you might want to compare a small date range with a large one. For example, comparing Yesterday’s conversion rate to the Last 30 Days, 45 Days, etc. As a part of this project we also updated the calendar to be more user friendly all around.

User Access Levels, and More!

We’re seeing more Koddi users open up access to extended teams and partners. To help ensure that changes aren’t accidentally made by those partners, we’ve implemented more granular user access levels: now you can select if users can Bid, Create Notifications, view specific partner data, and access the Tech Corner. These changes should help protect and maintain campaign integrity.

Since the last release, we’ve also made over 20 other updates and/or upgrades to the system to improve reliability, performance, and response time. The new release approach is resulting in faster and more frequent updates than ever. As always, if there’s a feature you’d like to see in Koddi, just send us an e-mail!
